It's been an eventful year of sports on the lower eastern shore of Maryland. Here are some of the top local sports moments from 2025.

Only two teams remain in the NWSL Playoffs with the semifinals concluding this weekend. The Washington Spirit and NJ/NY Gotham FC prepare to play the big final with wins over Portland Thorns and Orlando Pride, respectively.
